Jennifer’s Party at Sambuca
Saturday night I got to shoot Jennifer’s 40th birthday party at Sambuca in “The Gulch.” Great group of people to work with and the food “looked” amazing. I hope to get back there sometime soon for a dinner with Sarah

The weather on Saturday was amazing and the outdoor shots early on were pretty easy to get. However, by about 7pm I had a mix of daylight, tungstens and some super bright red heat lamps. I attempted custom white balance with my expo disc but that was difficult with such a range of light temperature. In the end, I resorted to bumping up the vibrancy and decreasing saturation in post processing—- something I do with most of my work anyway.
